Welcome to De Flore!
This week we are finally launching the website after months of planning, procrastinating and collecting submissions. Our content will range across articles, essays, short stories, visual art, playlists and poetry, alongside accessible introductions to political and social theory.
Content being published this week includes a informative zine entitled 'Go with the Flow' by Georgie B, exploring how periods affect the mental well-being of menstruating individuals, an essay by Elisa M on the commodification of diversity in the entertainment industries, and finally, we are sharing a song of sapphic yearning.
In addition to these releases, we have finalised and uploaded our manifesto for you to read, are posting our first theory post delving into the concept of intersectionality and have uploaded the first playlist by our very own Callie Winch.
